Weddings at Galgorm Manor Resort – Alison + Christopher

It was great being back at Englishtown Church – Macosquin Presbyterian for the wedding of Alison and Christopher on a changeable 4th of July. One minute sunshine the next rain, though having shot Alison’s brothers wedding a few years ago I knew it would take more than a little sun shower to dampen the spirits.

Christopher and his men arrived in stylish two tone vintage cars wearing classic black suits with accompanying hats and the most amazing soft pastel floral print ties and matching pocket hankies. Walking up the red carpet Alison’s dress looked amazing, the detail over her shoulders, down the bodice and scattered towards the train with matching full length vale made an incredible sight.

As dad watched his step, Alison hooked on and they made their way up the aisle to meet groom Christopher and Rev Gowdy. I’m not sure what happened next, perhaps nerves, though it did make for a great photo opp as all four of them shared a laugh just before the ceremony got under way. Sharp sounds of the flautist accompanied the softer tones of the harp as the couple signed the register before walking out to greet their guests.

It was off to Galgorm Manor Resort and Spa for a refreshing drinks reception where guests enjoyed the talents of their very own caricaturist, helping to give everyone a very unique keepsake of the day.
